Mug Club is here!

Stephen Dark…a beer lover and almost local potter has handmade fabulous mugs for us! Because they are all handmade there is a little variation in each - making them unique collectors items!

The Mug Club is currently Full. please email us or ask your bartender to be added to the waiting list!

This is how the mug club will work:

 $50 membership, renewed annually, with a new Mug each year!

Membership includes:

• The handmade Avenue Pub mug. Each mug is between 19 and 21 ounces. (early birds get the larger mugs)
• 3 to 5 ounces of free beer each time you have it filled! When you bring your mug in you get it filled for the price of a pint. So that’s 3 to 5 free ounces of beer each time you get a beer.

Conditions and Rules:

1. We will only fill these mugs with beers that are less than 9% ABV and the other occasional exception being very expensive kegs (eg. Cantillon). Beers on draft now that qualify are - all the NOLA’s , Lazy Mags, Racer 5, Stone Pale Ale or Arrogant Bastard, North Coast Red Seal, Blanche De Bruxxelles, Blanche De Chambly, most Rogues, Harpoon IPA or UFO, Brooklyn Lager etc. Beers that would NOT qualify are things like Brother Thelonius, Harpoon Leviathan series, Amager Stout  and anything that we are only pricing in ten ounce servings.
2. You MAY NOT loan your mug to a friend that is not part of the MUG club. We will have a list and though we probably won’t check it for every person that presents a mug each time if we see this is going on we will remove you from the program.
3. We aren’t set up at this time to store the mugs for you. We are working on that but for now you will have to bring in your own mug for each visit.
4. Mugs that are broken can be returned and replaced for $17. If the potter changes the price…we will have to pass that increase along for replacement mugs. Make sure you bring us the broken pieces for replacement at that price.
5. When we get our POS system updated (hopefully by June 1st) each mug club member will get a card that will keep track of your purchases and allow us to give further discounts to really good customers.
6. We reserve the right to cut off membership in this club at a set number . These clubs can turn into real money losers for a bar so if its TOO popular we will set a limit on the number of members.
