Craig and Kimmie shut down their restaurant - J'anita's on Magazine St. - in April of 2009. They now cook at The Avenue Pub for our customers!

Dont let our great reviews on restaurant sights like Urban spoon mislead you! We aren't actually a restaurant. The Pub is a highly rated craft beer bar - in the top ten of RATEBEER Destinations and a consistent A or A+ on Beer Advocate!

Menu offerings have changed subtantially. Kim and Craig's fabulous cooking is geared towards craft beer drinkers.

During high volume hours seating may be limited to Bar customers.

Lunch and dinner are now different menus

Lunch is avilable 7 days a week from 11:00 am till 4:30 pm and includes the same full sized sandwiches with sides:

Famous St. Chuck Duck
Sweet Spot Burger
Truffle Fries
Best Fish Sammich

Evening menu is avilable 7 days a week from 5:30 pm until at least 2:00 am - the evening offerings are now mostly tapas sized small plates:

Deconstructed grilled Redfish sandwich on Crostini
Famous St. Chuck Duck in appetizer size
Pulled Pork Plate with homemade white BBQ sauce (tapas size)
Buddha's Temptation (apricots stuffed with blue cheese and wrapped in bacon...even better than it sounds)
Gourmet sliders (2 or 3 per plate)

For a full meal we still have the basic pub burger and of course..cheese fries!

The grill is open 24 hours, when J'anita's is not in the kitchen the bartender can cook and offer a basic selection of cheese fries, mini tacos and Burgers.
