The balcony can accommodate 35 people sitting and much more standing. The interior rooms attached to the balcony can accommodate 35 people sitting.
The Balcony/upstairs bar is available for private rental most nights except Wednesdays. We limit the number of private bookings on Friday or Saturday nights to 2 per month. The fee varies depending on the night.
Following are NON Mardi Gras rates:
Spring buy out rates for the balcony bar
- Sunday, Monday & Tuesday nights: $750 with a $650 dollar bar tab
- Thursday nights: $1600 with a $1500 bar tab
- Friday & Saturday nights: $3000 with a $2700 dollar bar tab
Lower rates may be available during daytime events
Please contact us for specific Mardi Gras dates. The fees vary depending on the parade.
If you want to arrange just to bring a group, but you don’t need to close the bar to our other customers, that can be arranged without a minimum or fee. A 20% gratuity will be added to all tabs that include 8 people or more.
If you plan to bring a group up during regular business hours but don’t want to rent the balcony please give us the heads up the you are coming. We do not staff for groups over 10 or 15 people on a regular Saturday night and can not accommodate groups of 30 people or more without notice. If we know you are coming…even if you don’t rent the balcony we can make sure that we have the staff present to accommodate you. Advance notice also insures that you don’t arrive on a night that the balcony has been sold to a private group
Minors are allowed only when the party is private and they must be well supervised by their parents/guardians. We ID everyone – and are not interested in renting to groups that are below the legal drinking age of 21. Minors are not allowed in the downstairs bar.
For a private function or an informal group gathering you may bring food, decorate and specify music. Illegal drug use is not tolerated and if we suspect this is occurring we will ask you leave.

Even on the slowest nights a guarantee of one drink per hour per person ($5.50 selections and above) plus twenty percent gratuity must be met in order to reserve a room or space for a non-private event. Weekend nights and busy times of the year can be more. Your guests may choose sodas or other less expensive options and you will not be charged the difference in price unless the overall minimum is not met.
